Heyler Jessith is an 18-year-old young man with Down syndrome from Barrancabermeja, Colombia. His joy and team spirit make a difference. He is smiling, curious and full of enthusiasm, bringing joy to every space with his kindness, his spontaneity and his warmth. He is very helpful, especially with his teacher and classmates, and enjoys discovering new experiences. He also has a special love for colours.
Before coming to the foundation, he interacted very little with the people around him. Thanks to the close support of the professionals, he has gradually strengthened his social skills and today he engages with more confidence and spontaneity. He now enjoys spending time with his classmates, taking part in different activities and receiving the affection and support of those around him.
